In 1985, Edward Jackowski founded Exude Fitness and changed the way we look at exercise. A fitness-industry pioneer, Jackowski was the first to educate and warn people that the wrong exercises for one’s specific body type would actually make the body look worse. In the early 1990’s, Jackowski created his Exer-Form Chart outlining precisely what type of exercise with the recommended frequency and duration is needed for individuals looking to lose weight versus toning.
Now, that chart is becoming the universal blueprint to follow for everyone embarking on a fitness program. This in turn lead to Exude Fitness receiving the world’s first and only patent on exercising based on body-types. Today, Edward’s exercise protocols and methodologies are being used as standards for the fitness and weight loss industry, as more and more medical studies are validating his findings.
To date, Edward is the author of seven books on general fitness, motivation, weight loss and golf and has helped create, direct and produce 10 fitness videos/DVD’s and motivational CD’s. Edward is currently writing two books; a follow-up to Escape Your Shape and a fitness book for parents/kids on how to raise a fit child in today’s tech world…What’s more, he has been featured by a slew of national/international publications, including: the New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Vogue, Marie Claire, Men’s Journal, Prevention, Tatler, Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day, ediets.com, weightwatchers.com, WebMD, forbes.com, and Salute (the U.S. Armed Forces Magazine).
